Curiosity About Mars ~ 08 Aug 2012

Mars is what’s up right now. Should you be looking for an assist in applying the raw energies of this edgy planet into a refined package approved by Saturn, perhaps a reading would work. Or at least check out the innovative and mind-blowing Galactic Reports. The are lots of functional links at the end of this post, ready for your use. And now, onto the news.

Last Monday as Mars transited up to the midpoint of the creativity rich dwarf planet, Haumea and the manifestation master, Saturn, the latest space probe, Curiosity, landed on Mars. The astronomers and mission specialists are touting the latest creative developments of science now working their tails off on the sort of red colored planet - a perfect manifestation of the transit of Mars in between these two planets. While it is unlikely that Curiosity will find little green men on the red planet, back on Earth the blue and red parties in the United States are butting heads harder and slinging more mud than ever before. That’s Mars too. Wasn’t it failed Presidential candidate, Adlai Stevenson, who contended, “he who slings mud, loses ground?”

As Mars lands at the same longitude as Saturn on the 14th (exact alignment), other patterns work to preview and set up this event, presumably granting more insight to efforts pursued. In bite-sized pieces, Mars to Saturn generally means:

Set an agenda, complete with a time line and get on it.

Define a purpose. Set a course to manifest your dharma.

Dedicate yourself to the efforts at hand. Apply discipline to your daily routine.

Reward accomplishments and the fulfillment of goal markers.

If a goal cannot be fulfilled due to circumstances outside your control, be gentle with yourself.

If a goal cannot be fulfilled because you ran out of steam, be gentle with yourself.

If a goal cannot be fulfilled because of running out of time, find a new time line scheduling mechanism.

Avoid criticism and criticizing.

With the pattern in Libra:

Afford yourself the same leniency you would render others.

Negotiate fair wages for your efforts and create agreeable contract terms.

Compare your work effort with your job description. If you exceed expectations, ask for a raise.

Be respectful of the talents of others as you seek to receive acclaim for your talents.

Avoid compromising beyond your minimum standards line in the sand.

Shun non-fulfilling social events.

In the two days, Mars moves up to take a seat opposite Eris, goddess of discord. So, that feeling that forces are in a tug of war is valid. While this could portend strenuous international relations, personal relations, if the pattern is applied consciously, might come to enjoy a reduction of strain. To reduce personal stresses and emerge victorious in the internal tug of war, consider:

Take a five-day break from social networking.

Determine what activities in life further your objectives and causes.

Figure out where in life you need to be included. Map out a plan, and when Mars meets Saturn, get it going.

Live outside the rules of what you are told will make you feel content and seek your heart’s desires.

Reverse the order of inertia that defies your nature.

Then, restore your involvement in the demands of life by having a sense of where you belong.

At virtually the same time that Mars and Saturn align, Venus opposes Pluto. The next day Venus squares Uranus. Thinking back a short time ago to when Mars aspected Pluto and Uranus, the times were testy. The urge to get, grab and go might have produced opposite results. No need to fear the Venus pattern. She’ll work to secure some of the stuff the impetuous actions of Mars drove away. You might benefit from asking some questions of yourself, such as:

Can you relate with others without demanding they meet your needs?

What do you want? No. What do you really, really want?

Can you give yourself permission to seek those things outside norms?

If you experienced true happiness would you spontaneously combust?

Here’s to personal refinement, creative innovation and dharmic definition. With that, it should be a good week ahead.
